depending on how you got to this blog, you may or may not know I've been struggling. my day-to-day life is spent mostly in bed, you may find me out in the living room for a new episode of Greys Anatomy and for dinner every night, and you'll occasionally see me outside of the house – probably for a special event, family gathering, a holiday, but far more likely, a doctors appointment or test – but the time out of the house comes with a consequence, I spend the next 1-2 weeks feeling worse and missing out on other special events. and even sometimes longer, since Thanksgiving (2016) I have been reeling, we travelled as a family out to east Texas to celebrate with my grandparents and aunt & uncle, and my body began to struggle even more. even as we end the first week of January 2017, I still have not recovered from the trip almost 2 months ago, and having Christmas exasperated those issues even more. if you see me, I may look okay, or even better than I have in a while, but its for a short period, two hours later and I will be in bed, in more pain, using my BiPAP and attempting to get some sort of relief from whatever issue decided to pop up with that outing. I dont say this for you to be sorry, and I definitely dont say this for you not to invite me to things – sometimes just knowing you were thought of will make it easier when you may not make it – I say this so you are aware of my circumstances at this moment in time, so maybe you decide to come here instead of inviting us over to your place or out to a restaurant, so that when I say I have to go home twenty minutes into a visit or ask to lay down in a bed or on a couch, you know why, so when you come over and my room isnt perfect, you know its because I needed that energy. I want to do so many more things, but right now, I am unable, I'm hoping as 2017 continues my health will at least stabilize and I can do some things I've been so badly wanting to do, like volunteer more and do so much more photography.
I have been incredibly lucky to have understanding friends and family, thank you to all of them for their support and help throughout the years.
I'm hoping to use this blog to document whats going on with help from my photography, which will be a mix of photographs from my phone and photographs from my professional camera
I took some photographs documenting some of the things I use and do daily, hope you enjoy
